What are the Best Gifting Strategies?
By cash gifting strategies we simply mean the tactics that you would need to adopt in order to be an effective cash gifter. The success of your gifting business depends crucially on your ability to promote it effectively. Many failed cash gifters often blame their failure on the program they are enrolled in. But in reality it is often more likely because of their inability to promote the program properly than a failure of the program itself. Obviously, the most appropriate strategy to use in any given situation will depend on your particular circumstances, such as available financial resources and amount of time available for working the program. We can identify at least 4 cash gifting strategies which have proven effective for promoting a gifting business, namely, Video and audio, Phone broadcasting, postcard marketing and search engine advertising. We will briefly discuss search engine and video marketing. For the other strategies see phone broadcasting and postcard marketing. (1)Search Engine Advertising: Most cash gifters can’t afford to rely on pay-per-click (ppc) advertising alone because it has become too expensive. Many people just cannot keep up with the ever increasing costs of bid amounts for profitable keywords. But if you can afford it, then PPC is certainly the most sure-fire way of driving traffic to your gifting site. It generates traffic immediately. But PPC is a double-edge sword which can leave you broke and dejected if it is poorly implemented. Here are tips to help you avoid expensive mistakes: Pay-Per-Click Marketing Mistakes: (a) Failure to Set a Spending Limit: This single mistake can put you out of business before you know it. (b) Not Knowing your Conversion Rate: Many new marketers often choose high-cost words without basing their choice on research. If you do not know the conversion rate for a particular keyword then my advice would be for you to start with a low bid. (c) Not writing Effective Ads. (d) Quitting too soon. It takes time to master PPC. (e) Not knowing when to quit. If you are not making a profit despite your best efforts, then consider a different marketing strategy. (2)Video Marketing: Of the many gifting strategies available, video is rapidly becoming the method of choice. Also, Google now includes video results together with their natural (text based) search results. When video's are done the right way, they are extremely powerful. It's great to be able to see and hear the owner of the cash gifting site. However, I don't think video is for everyone that is doing cash gifting. Recently I was unfortunate enough to stumble upon a website on which there was a video of a man promoting cash gifting. In the video he was smoking a cigarette, and for the most part all I could see was smoke. When creating your video endeavor to keep the following points in mind: (a) Make sure the focus is on the cash gifting opportunity you are discussing and not on you unless you are trying to promote yourself as a mentor or expert. (b) If necessary, place a sheet to form a solid plain wall behind you. This avoids unnecessary distractions from the surroundings and keeps attention on you and your business opportunity. (c) Keep it under 4 minutes. (d) Record it at the same size that it will be played. (e) Use an external microphone to ensure good sound quality. (f) Make sure that the file size is compatible with the requirements of the site you are planning on uploading it to. (g) Keep the file size under 100MB. (h) Make sure to include the keywords for the video you are promoting in the title, description and file name. (i) Practice and review it over and over. If necessary invite a few friends to review it also. (j) Finally remember that not having video on your website is not the end of the world. Your sales and traffic may increase/decrease without it. All you should do is practice and test to see what marketing strategy works best for you. These gifting strategies are just some of the ideas on search engine and video marketing to keep in mind when planning your cash gifting campaign.
